Activities on the Farm
Enjoy walking through our 4 km indigenous forest, through the kiwi orchard and along the Mpofana River. Marvel at the king of the forest, an estimated 500-year-old Yellowwood tree & don’t miss the forest swing.

The property is graced by the crystal clear Mpofana River which flows strongly through the farm. A hollowed-out section in the river is a great spot to go for a dip or enjoy the river from the banks by settling down for a picnic. Bring your own floatie and have fun in the damp. Or try your luck and catch yellowtail or trout – strictly catch and release.

Relax poolside or cool down in our beautiful swimming pool.

Take a stroll around the property & settle down at a grassy spot for a picnic along the river bank.

Kids can have a blast at our play area complete with a jungle gym, swings, and trampoline.

All five tents offer the exclusive use of their own wood-fired hot tub. A wood-fired hot tub is the purest form of relaxation. Soak up your beautiful Midlands surroundings while listening to the calming crackle of the fire. Or take a dip to cool off on the hotter days.

Wear comfortable hiking shoes that can get a little muddy.
Take a windbreaker or some wind/waterproof clothing along in the case of rain or changes in weather.
Take drinking water and power food along on your hike. Bananas, chocolates, or mixed nuts and seeds will give you that boost of extra energy.
Avoid hiking alone! No matter how experienced you are, tell someone which trail you are taking, and your planned route as well as departure and arrival times.
Please do not pick any flowers, damage any plants or change the natural environment in any way.
Please do not leave any litter anywhere on the farm. Animals eating plastic and litter could be seriously injured or even fatally harmed. Bottle tops, beer and cool drink bottles, and cigarette butts have nothing to offer the earth. Please do not leave them behind.
Be safe. Take a cell phone with you.
No smoking is allowed on the trails.
